Mercynary is a game jam game we produced for Junction 2016. With the theme of resurrection, and less than 30 hours of development, we managed to make a game about conflict, with a protagonist who does not fight.
The main character is a mercenary wizard, who tries to turn the tide of an ongoing battle, by reviving allied soldiers. The game combines elements of fast-paced action and tower defence games, in a WW2 Medic meets Overwatch, theme.
